First Baptist Church of Clairemont is looking to hire a Youth Ministry Director. This position is intended to lead our ministry to 7th-12th grade students. We have a few youth right now, but in San Diego there are many more to be evangelized and discipled through our growing church.
This position is a paid part-time position at this time with the potential for growth should the church continue to grow and become able to afford to pay more.
The Youth Ministry Director reports to the Senior Pastor. The person who holds this position will have direct discipleship from the Senior Pastor and the support of the Pastor of Worship and Education, the church secretary, and, at the moment, a small team of volunteers.
We are looking to “hit the reset button” on our youth ministry after several years of having few or no youth. We want to start the program small with a weekly gathering on Wednesday nights and a special event every other month, with the hope to take the youth to a camp experience this summer.
